The 3-D action-thriller Sanctum comes after a group of underwater cave divers on a dangerous adventure to the biggest, most beautiful and least available cave system on Earth. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they need to battle raging water, dangerous terrain and creeping panic as they seek for a mysterious escape path to the ocean. Master diver Frank McGuire has explored the South Pacific's Esa-ala Caves for months. When his exit is stop in a flash flood, Frank's team-including 17-year-old son Josh and financier Carl Hurley have to drastically change plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out. Soon, they are confronted by the inevitable question: Can they make it out, or will they be stuck forever?
